"Actual Situation in Russia and Industrialism"
Some works of I.Tugarinov, S.Kara-Murza, T.Aizatulin, V.Kozhinov, V.Maksimov, G.Gachev, A.Neklessa a.o. are published.
The main problem which are discussed:
1. Actual Situation in Russia and Industrialism
The evaluation of technologies and technological hazards in present-day Russia has to be made under totally unique conditions. No technologies have ever been evaluated under conditions of deindustrialization of a country possessing such powerful, integrated and hazardous industry as Russia. The evaluation of technologies that are falling into disuse mostly through the disintegration of the national technological complex appears to be a more complicated task than the renovation or expansion of the technological base.
Besides, the problem of analyzing large systems under unstable conditions and fraught with obscure risks seems all the more complicated as it is to be solved now that the very concept of industrialism is being essentially revised. Since the current crisis of industrialism, like any civilizational crisis, is accompanied by active ethnogenetic processes, the analysis of interrelations and interdependencies within the system "ethnos - technosphere" is becoming really urgent.
The following topics are tackled here:
- the main postulates of industrialism that determine traditional technological policy as reflected in Russian culture; the correlation between political processes and ethnogenesis; the history of ethnic contacts and ethnogenetic processes in Russia;
- the ehtnogenetic processes in the period of the biosphere's transformation into the noosphere and transition to modern market economy;
- the cultural genotype of Russian society and possibilities of its safe modification;
- the role of the technosphere in modern social and ethnic conflicts and the evaluation of technological hazards under the current outburst of ethnogenesis in Russia.
2. Europocentrism and Modernization of Russia
Europocentrism as a meta-ideology of the Western civilization has become a cultural matrix for numerous monumental projects of modernization of traditional societies, including that of the U.S.S.R. (Russia). Its invasion into public consciousness of today's Russia leads to acute conflicts between virtually all ideologemes and myths of "modern" and "traditional" world-views. The group envisages an analysis of basic myths of Europocentrist fundamental models (those of world, human, society, economy, etc.) in their clash with homological myths and models deeply rooted in the consciousness of a "typical Homo soveticus".
3. "Evrasiistvo" and the present situation
"Evrasiistvo" - the famous social theory of Russian emigrants (1924-1932), describing the Russia as both European and Asian society (Eurasia), and the modern public opinion about this theory. Theory of "evrasiistvo", some theories of "newevraziistvo" and their perspectives in Russia are discussed.
Tugarinov's works on this problems:
1. Evrasiistvo" in the sphere of our interests. - Alma Mater (Vestnik Vys'shei Shkoly), 1992, N 7-9.
2. "Evrasiistvo" and the present situation - Alma Mater (Vestnik Vys'shei Shkoly), 1993, N 5. With V.Egorov, S.Kara-Mursa a.o.
3. "Russia by D.Mendeleev" - Svet (Priroda i chelovek), 1996, N 2. With T.Aizatulin
